He has extensive experience of advising on high value, complex, international corporate and commercial transactions. He has worked in London, Singapore, Mumbai, Delhi and Manchester.

Tell us about your role

I advise clients on a broad range of corporate and commercial matters, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate restructurings, commercial contracts, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance.

During more than 20 years in my legal career, I have worked with top tier law-firms in London, Manchester, New Delhi, and Singapore. I have also worked with top companies as an in-house lawyer in Chester and Mumbai. I have worked on complex domestic and cross-border transactions, advising businesses on structuring deals, managing legal risk, and achieving their commercial objectives.

Having worked in both private practice and in‑house roles across the UK, India, and Singapore, I bring a commercially attuned, solutions‑focused approach to helping clients structure transactions and navigate legal challenges with clarity and confidence.

I enjoy working closely with clients to understand their businesses and provide clear, pragmatic solutions. Whether negotiating transactions, drafting commercial agreements, or advising on strategic corporate matters, my focus is always on delivering high-quality legal support that helps clients move forward with confidence.

Tell us about your life outside of O'Connors

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and maintaining an active lifestyle. I regularly work out at the gym, which helps me stay focused and energised. I also love travelling, reading and hiking.

I am also a member of the Executive Committee of the Bengali Association of Merseyside. Through this role, I help organise cultural and community events that celebrate Bengali heritage and bring people together. It is rewarding to contribute to initiatives that strengthen community connections and promote cultural engagement.
