Commercial lawyer Mike Ainsworth joins O’Connors as fifth partner
Lead advisory law firm, O’Connors LLP, has appointed senior commercial lawyer Mike Ainsworth as its fifth partner. Mike joins after 9 years with global technology solutions business CSC.
Based in Liverpool and London, O’Connors offers a unique blend of corporate, commercial, insurance and regulatory expertise and handles projects and transactions for some of the UK’s most innovative and successful organisations. Mike’s appointment expands the firm’s capacity to handle major commercial negotiations for its growing international client base as well as bringing rare technology and healthcare sector experience to the firm.
Mike said: “I know and love Liverpool having spent most of my 20 plus years in legal career in and around the city, including 6 years in private practice at DLA Piper, before taking up a Group Legal Adviser and Company Secretary role with a local public company. It is impressive to see how strongly Liverpool is building on its historical London links and re-establishing itself as a premiership player in international trade.
“Since deciding to move back into private practice, I have been looking for a firm whose operating model complements the in-house business advisory skills I have developed.
